The Soul's Intent: An Interview with the Divine

“ High-jacked by the ego, we live in a world of our own invention. The secret is getting to an awareness outside of thinking, to an awareness of true being. In this context, love is a place. All we need do, to improve our lives, is to move there! This is the soul’s intent.”

The Soul's Intent

The Soul’s Intent acknowledges a conversation between the ego and soul. Ego is defined as an aspect of the self that seeks balance in its known reality. Unable to see its own reflection, it can only become self-aware when communicating with its above observer or divine essence - the soul. Figuratively higher than or superior to the ego, the soul observes our lives without judgment or analysis. The ego's inability to recognize itself or see what it is doing makes it a seeker. Sensitive to the memories and emotions of its experiences, the ego questions everything a person thinks, feels, or does. Because the divine or soul encompasses all that can be intuitively perceived, it is the organizing intelligence that guides and offers answers to our lives.

The sages of modern times all agree: we are drowning in the thoughts of who we think we are. The Soul has been relegated to the unconscious and invisible world of the internal. We experience the soul’s intent as presence. Self-assured and confident of its place in our lives, we grow and grow others. Absent, we frustrate and anger ourselves. Inner or outer directed, everyone suffers from this anger. The Soul’s Intent is that we arrive, get here, be present, without punishing or blaming others that we cannot. Then…pay it forward!
